Wednesday

If you are you waiting around for an epic turn of events to motivate you to do your best, I ask. Why isn’t today that day?

Sometimes our greatest obstacle is the little voice in our heads telling us tomorrow is a better day to start than today, or we wait and wait on lightning to strike to start our journey.

The odds that lightning will strike are astronomical and that consistent little voice that says, “No, not today,” will never let-up unless you silence it.

Get started today with a phone call or reach out to someone who is taking the plunge to work on something you consider amazing.

Once you give yourself permission to start, and build trust with yourself by creating your best work everyday.

Your Wednesdays will be wonderful and you’ll welcome the humps as you conquer them again and again.

Micro-Moments

There is a list of things that get in the way of our ability to focus. Whether it’s a ringing phone, our obsession with social media, or our habit of gaming every 10 minutes.

There is usually an obstacle that we place in our way before diving into our work.

Consider how these micro-moments take time away from your bigger goals. Work to minimize them. Edit your time and maximize your potential for new opportunities by gaining time from distractions.

Allocate your new micro-moments to maximize your overall growth potential. You will discover you had a lot more time than you thought when you reclaim your focus and get in the zone faster and without limitations.

The Enemy

The challenge is not your enemy.

Often, we avoid difficult situations because we wish to avoid feelings of insecurity and uncertainty.

We firmly place ourselves in the throws of comfort which makes each day easier and easier.

I remember the times when I stopped exercising and placed a hiatus on achieving greater and greater goals. I was avoiding my greatest challenge and choosing lesser passions for safety, comfort, and assured direction.

This was the enemy. Choosing less, choosing comfort, choosing the moderate difficulty setting. Don’t quit your day job or spontaneously retreat to a remote cabin.

Challenge yourself. Raise the stakes of your workouts. Get back into the gym or develop a personal workout routine. Study yoga and deepen your experience by truly seeking enlightenment with your practice. Get that business going and offer so much value you hit the Forbes list in a few years. Work on that bestseller and don’t quit until the manuscript is ready.

The day is yours. Hit the the ground running. Transcending the challenge is the reward.

Thriving during Challenges

Challenges will return again and again on your journey to greatness, so remember the processes that helped you get through your tough times.

We all know that despite the forecast or any weather predictions, a storm can appear randomly on any day.

When you write down the process that helped you remain focused during the storm. You create a pathway through chaos that you can use again and again to thrive during difficult circumstances.

Whether it is a soundtrack of motivational speeches, a playlist with epic music, or a walk around the block with deep focused breathing (these are mine). Discover your own process to get you through any problem. What works for you may not work for others, and no matter the method, kick grass while doing it.

Rinse and repeat your steps, and stow it away like your umbrella for greatness.

The day is yours!

Ultimate Rewards

Trust is what you build with daily work. When you follow-through on your mission and when you discover that the reward is sticking to your plan.

The difficult part, starting, starting over, or rededicating to your purpose usually takes three weeks to settle into. Likewise, it takes three weeks to break or fail at a new habit.

Avoiding the pitfalls of self-destruction and taking on the moniker of your purpose has probably always been your big dream.

To remain focused, deconstruct your vision. Remember the parts make the whole and the little steps make progress manageable.

Dig into your focus and harness your power to build your vision.

You’ve probably read all about setting up your plan. Just break the project into steps and stick to it.

When it gets tough and you stick to your goals the act of conquering the challenge is the ultimate reward.

Seeking the Magic Bullet

After endlessly searching for the next magic bullet to make your business better or refurbish your mental focus, you’ll probably find that you’ve had what you needed all along.

To the searchers, I tell you to keep searching. For those that lack confidence, I tell you to keep searching. For those that believe happiness and joy are products and tools some else has, keep searching.

All the things that will drive you to be your best are right where they have always been, inside you. The caveat is learning and using knowledge to inform your on your quest, but the attitude, the persistence, and the vision for greatness is right where it has always been, inside you.

Gratitude

Happy Holidays! Sharing love and joy during the holidays is an achievement worth more than material gains.

Each goal and step toward your very best is better with friends, family, mentors, and coaches that add value to your mission and vision in life.

Share some joy with your friends and wish them an awesome holiday.

Quality time and rest are included on the journey. The value is in the memories you create and gratitude you share on your way to your very best.
